After a shopping spree, what better way to unwind than in the beautiful and colourful surroundings of Princes Street Gardens at the foot of Edinburgh Castle. Directions by Car Follow the signs for City Centre, which will bring you into the area covered by the map. This will bring you to Princes Street with gardens and Castle on its south side. From there, Castle Street is at the West end of Princes Street. If you are coming from the west, you must approach Castle Street by way of Queen Street; Frederick Street; George Street and then right onto Castle Street.


			By Bus Andrew Square Bus station is also no more than a five minute walk from Castle Street along George Street. By Air The city centre is about 20 minutes by taxi or bus from the airport.
